Getting started
Everything you need to know to start using Pakt
Pakt runs on the Polygon network, so you need its native token MATIC to pay for transaction fees. The most common way to buy some is through a centralized exchange like Binance or Coinbase. If you've never done this before, you’ll need to create a new account and verify your personal identity. Then, you'll be able to send fiat currency and buy some MATIC.
Pakt is a decentralized app, which means you will need a wallet to interact with it. A popular option is MetaMask. You can install it as a browser extension, making it really easy to confirm transactions. Follow the instructions to create a wallet. Note that if you want to use Pakt on your phone, you will need to install the MetaMask app instead (on iOS or Android).
To make a pakt, you need to bet some PAKT tokens. You can trade MATIC for PAKT tokens on Uniswap. Note that the price can change depending on supply and demand.
If you cannot find the token, verify that you are on the Polygon network and enter the PAKT token address

in the search bar.You can also use Pakt on mobile as a progressive web app. To install it, go to the home page on your mobile browser and click "add to home screen" from the browser options. Note that you will need to switch between Pakt and the MetaMask app for each wallet interaction, so the experience may be less smooth than on desktop with MetaMask as a browser extension.
